TEG Recap May/ June 2022

What has been done in the last months

First TEG Talk in a long time

Together with the entrepreneurs Adrian Kapsalis from LOEWI and Alexander Henhammer from Kumovis as well as Prof. Patzelt from TUM, we were able to put together an interesting program. Digitally present were about 60 participants, some of whom also joined the digital networking with the founders after the event.

Rebranding and clear positioning

The rebranding was an important step to make TEG presentable and attractive for students again. Looking at the numbers and feedback from applicants, the new design seems to be very well received. The focus of the whole thing was of course the new website (you can check it out here), but also the redesign of the Linkedin and Instagram channels.

Restructuring of the club

Apart from the two boards, we have introduced so-called Units, which have different functions. Each Unit has a Head, who in turn interacts with the Board. This happens in the board meetings, which take place every two weeks. In addition, the allhands meeting, where all active members meet, also takes place every two weeks. In addition, each unit meets once a week to discuss current tasks and topics.

Trip to the EBSpreneurship Forum in Oestrich-Winkel

In October 2021, the TEG Board was at the EBSpreneurship Forum of the European Business School. Some new acquaintances were made and TEG was represented.

Onboarding WS21/22

The largest increase in members was recorded at the start of the last winter semester, when 18 new members joined the association.

First Innovation Café on site

For the first time, we were able to implement our internal "Innovation Café" format on site. In the Innovation Café, members present business ideas, which are then discussed together. If the idea meets with support, it is turned into a project by interested members in a separate working group. We see the Innovation Café as one of our strongest driving forces in our efforts to generate new start-ups.

Presentation of TEG at the SCE Incoming Days

At the Incoming Week for foreign students organized by the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship, Bruno Polster presented TEG to around 80 students. Similar to the LMU IEC, the SCE has become a regular cooperation partner, which we appreciate very much. For us, networking with the Entrepreneurship Centers of the various universities in Munich is key to the diversity in the fields of study and universities of the members in the association.

Refurnishing the office

Fortunately, all our meetings can now take place on site again in the TEG office, which is accordingly used very frequently. In the meantime, we have refurnished the interior and equipped it with whiteboards, new chairs and a table, among other things.
